New Online Banking 2-24-2025

 

We are thrilled to announce that our new and improved online banking experience will be available starting Monday, February 24th. This upgrade introduces enhanced features, a streamlined user experience, and a more powerful mobile app designed to make managing your finances easier than ever!

 

 

Before February 21st: Get Set Up for Success

  1. Get Ready to Enroll: To successfully enroll you will need the following:
    • Full Account Number (for your Primary Checking or Savings account). You can find it on your checks, or by confirming with your branch team.
    • Email and Phone Number: You will need to enter the email and phone number on record with M1 Bank. Update or confirm your contact details by visiting your online banking profile or confirming with a branch team member prior to February 21st.
  2. Download Transaction History & eStatements: Download or request any account history and eStatements you need, as this data will not be carried over to the new system.
  3. Record Payment Details: Take note of your bill pay and payee information to reestablish them in the new system beginning February 24th.

February 24th: Enroll in the New System

  1. Visit Our Homepage: Go to WWW.M1.BANK and select “M1 Online Banking” under “LOGIN”.
  2. Begin Enrollment: Click “First time user? Enroll now.”
  3. Enter Enrollment Information: Provide your SSN, a full account number, email address, and phone number on file and then click “Next”
  4. Confirm Email: A one-time passcode will be sent to the email address on file.
  5. Set Up Two-Factor Authentication: Choose to receive a security code via phone (voice or text) or use authentication app. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  6. Accept Terms & Conditions: Review and accept the updated End User License Agreement.
  7. Create Username & Password: Set up your username and password for future logins. You can reuse your prior username if desired. Enrollment is now complete!

Download our New App: Starting February 24th, delete our current app first, then download the new M1 Bank app from the App Store or Google Play.

 

Important Information to Note:

Account History: Previous transaction and statement history will not transfer to the new system. To ensure you have all necessary records, we recommend downloading any transaction history or eStatements before Friday, February 21st.

If you need assistance accessing these records or verifying transaction details after the system conversion, your M1 Bank team is here to help.

Payments: All existing external payments, including bill pay transactions and payees, will need to be reconfigured in the new online banking system. Be sure to record all details (e.g., account numbers, addresses, dates, amounts) needed to set back up prior to February 21st.

Upgraded Person-to-Person Payments:
As part of our upcoming online banking upgrade, we want to inform you that Zelle will no longer be available through M1 Bank after February 21st. Starting Monday, February 24th, we will be introducing Payrailz, a new, more intuitive P2P payment platform. Payrailz will offer enhanced features and greater flexibility, providing our users with an improved and more seamless payment experience.

eStatements: If you are enrolled in eStatements today, that enrollment will not carry over and you will be on paper statements.  If you prefer eStatements as your deliver method, please enroll in the new system.

Quickbooks and Quicken Users: Please complete a data file backup and final transaction import prior to Friday, February 21st since transaction history will not be available after the upgrade.

Key Dates:

  • Friday, February 21st, 3:00 PM CT: Your accounts will be accessible in View Only Mode beginning at 3 PM CT on Friday the 21st through conversion weekend.  Please complete any necessary transfers prior to this date.
  • Monday, February 24th: The new online banking system and app will launch. To continue accessing your accounts online or through the mobile app, you will need to enroll in the new system and download the new mobile app.
