Community of Hope Haiti is founded by Brian and Heather Tucker. Married for 18 years, the pair is from St. Louis. Brian worked in the Medical Device & Capital Equipment industry for 14 years. Now he’s a farmer, fisherman, teacher, medic, full-time dad & husband. Heather volunteered in the women’s recovery ministry & life-coaching.

She’s now using her Masters in Education & Seminary Certificate in Recovery Ministry as a Home School teacher, women’s ministry director, life coach, “mother” to many motherless kids, & G-dly example to multiple villages.

The organization serves Grand Vide, Haiti. The village is on the western side of the island of La Gonave (38 miles long by 8 miles wide). They are 31 miles from mainland Haiti across the Canal de Sud. there, they walk almost everywhere, as there are no cars. There is no electricity; but they have solar panels – to charge electronics, make cold water, & provide lights. There is no indoor plumbing; but they have 2 latrine-style toilets. COHH has built many facilities in the village.
