This event was a storytelling of how Sons and Daughters of enslaved and slavers have met in this day. Together we discussed unexpected and unplanned circumstances to be the people of this generation to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of their ancestors. Lunch was also be provided.
Presenters Matt Lockett and Will Ford III describe their encounter. Their story surrounds the undoing of things their ancestors prayed about and engaged in.

The mission of the Dred Scott Foundation is to educate the public of the critical impact of the Dred Scott Decision. The organization educates on Dred and Harriet Scott’s struggle for freedom through commemoration, education and reconciliation. The Dred Scott Heritage Foundation Reconciliation Conference is an annual event.
