About ATCSTL
Adult & Teen Challenge of St. Louis is dedicated to a transformative 12 month residential program. It is based on Christian principles to help restore broken lives of men and women overcome by addictions.
The program is holistic. They are concerned with the body, mind, and spirit of those who come to us for help. Adult & Teen Challenge’s mission is to help individuals become mentally sound, emotionally balanced. The goal is to rehabilitate individuals so they can return to society as productive citizens.
Adult & Teen Challenge of St. Louis works extensively with young men and women, 18 years old and up. Most adults who arrive at our doors bring with them a tragic history of substance abuse or other life-controlling problems. The journey towards sobriety includes attention to the spiritual needs of those who seek their help.
With a focus on the practical applications of Christian teachings, individuals not only learn how to change deeply entrenched, self-destructive behaviors, but also discover a new identity in Christ that makes these changes possible. Of course, through Bible-based classes, individual study, personal mentoring, work therapy training and involvement in the Christian community, they facilitate the transition to conquer life-controlling problems.
Thanks to the generous contributions from caring individuals, churches, organizations and the business community, they are able to provide their residential services for a minimal one-time fee.
